The best backup pad available... by far!
- smoother facing material for optimum contact between disc and topcoat. Others have textured surface
- smoother surface allows for better adhesion because water does not migrate under disc as much during wet sanding
- stays flat, edges do not curl & cup in center... other’ pad’s facing material curls on edge which creates a potential sanding mark from that area
- other pads’s cup in center ... ours does not
- roloc-style button is smaller in diameter than the pad itself which allows the pad to “compensate” for operators tilting tje disc while samding which generates “sanding dips” and “cut throughs”
